The Lewes8 are 8 East Sussex photographers brought together in 2009 by professional photographer Allan Grainger.

With an entirely Lewes themed inaugural exhibition in September 2009, at the Phoenix Gallery, their 200 plus guests saw aspects of Lewes and the people of Lewes photographed in a new an exciting way. From Ben the well known butcher to the stillness of the night, Lewes found itself under scrutiny from this eclectic group of photographers.

In February the group will exhibit their ‘Lewes’ photos at the Little Theatre. The exhibition open at 6pm on Saturday 20th February with all photographers there to ask offer answers to any questions you may have.
